Indicorps is a one-year competitive public service fellowship for Indian-Americans who have a college degree or five years equivalent work experience.

Indicorps fellowships are designed to be one-of-a-kind transformational experiences, emphasizing both personal growth and international development. Selected fellows are given individual responsibility to execute and complete projects that are created/defined by local developmental experts. The limits of their contribution are defined only by the fellows' creativity and motivation.

The structure of the Indicorps fellowship is created to rapidly orient fellows to India and their issues/projects, minimize the investment of partner organizations, and capitalize on applicants' expertise to implement robust projects that are in India's best interest. The program is carefully crafted to defy common criticisms of both international volunteers and the organizations with which they work.

Indicorps' goal is to provide our fellows with the tools to have a phenomenal experience.
