We know that our goals and mission sound idealistically vague, however, one thing is undeniably real: we are establishing the foundation for the Indian-American experience for generations to come. As a community, we have many choices as we create our future - here are but a few generalizations:

1) We can assimilate fully, and take on an identity indistinguishable from the "melting pot" of America - our children will progressively distance themselves from their cultural history.

2) We can live in an ethnic enclave, enjoy the amenities of American life without any civic participation, and alienate future generations from the benefits of American society and the rewards of true public service.

3) We can aim to strike a balance between two cultures, build a powerful community with capable leaders, and bring a unique cultural perspective to our society.

Indify is interested in helping motivated individuals build a community upon the positive aspects of the Indian and American ways of life.
