Indify is a US-based not-for-profit organization created to empower new generations of Indian-Americans as they strive to create their identity [as individuals and a community] in the United States. We are dedicated to understanding the Indian-American experience, exploring ways to strengthen our community, and implementing replicable community-building programs to strengthen the Indian diaspora around the world. At Indify, we believe that a community is only as strong as the people who comprise it; it is our goal to create experiences and opportunities that encourage Indian-Americans to strengthen themselves and actively contribute to the world around them. The first program launched by Indify was Indicorps – originally a year-long structured service fellowship for Indian-Americans interested in building their leadership capacities and reconnecting to India through public service. Since its inception, the award-winning Indicorps program has grown into several programs promoting leadership service opportunities in India to the Indian diaspora. To learn more about the Indicorps program, visit www.indicorps.org. Indify was started by a group of committed young Indian-Americans, inspired by their own experiences, to strengthen community identity, build leadership qualities among young changemakers, and encourage civic responsibility within the Indian-American community.
